How times changed for Firearms

 It's amazing to think that a young British teenager who fought with a Pattern 1800 Infantry Rifle during the battle of waterloo (1815) might have been able to test fire a Bloody Maxim Machinegun (1884) as an old army (retired) veteran (If he lived to his late 70s or 80s).

That's how fast gun technology changed during the 1800s to 1900s.
